And it took UT's best player being out and an assistant coach coaching, to even make it out of overtime. You'd better thank God that dumb **** Kiffin was there or you'd still be crying wanting that MNC.![]()
at home in basketball, will you ever beat us again in the big two (fb and bball)??
lol Roll Tide!
60-55 in OT over UT @ UT.

the assistant coach has been coaching for a while, tough to use that excuse.
but i figured a team with all that huge talent and those big stars could beat a team full of nobodies with a nobody coach in their home building.![]()

It'd have been nice to have that 17 ppg that Hopson brings versus that ZERO that Bone chipped in today. You wouldn't have even had to have to wait through overtime to start jerking it.

Hey every team has games without players, and I can almost guarantee Hopson would not have scored 17. The UT bigs needed to play bigger, Harris had what, 16? Him and Williams needed to have big games because of the D bama plays on the perimeter. The inside D by Bama is far from great, but they make up for it by creating all sorts of turnovers from the outside.
UT scored 60 tho, more than the rest of the SEC averages v. us. I didnt get to see it just listened to last two minutes of regulation and OT, Bama tried to give it away with Green's turnover late but luckily UT couldnt convert.
Whats UTs record in the SEC now?

Harris had 19. Hopson would have been in double digits at least. 1 would have been better than what Bone gave. Williams comes off the bench and will have a decent game every once in a while, that was Wednesday, not today. The bigs weren't the problem, it's the point guard position today. Goins was awful.
UT's 5-3 now. Two losses in OT and the first game Jones coached which was a total debacle.

That was what was getting at. Alabama always makes it hell on the frontcourt. The back end has to play huge to beat a team that plays perimeter defense like Alabama does.
Or just focus really hard on stopping Green and not letting Hillman create. the offense runs thru Green, he is very hard to stop. But if you can get him off the block you can beat them.
I watched UK struggle mightily stopping Green inside with 4 and 5* recruits, but I saw some **** teams force him off the block early in the season and beat them.

you mean like Hazell from Seton Hall putting up 27 on them?
or maybe you meant E'Twaun Moore scoring 23?
or maybe Marshon Brooks scoring 33 while his teammate Gerard Coleman had 18?
or how about Ross from lowly Auburn putting up 20 to match the 20 put up by OK State wonderbread shooter Page??
you gave up 18 to Dee Bost and his teammate Kodi Augustus had a double double...
as a matter of fact, in the 13 games you've played against power conference teams, you've given up at least 16 points to a guard in 8 of them...and 5 of those were 20+ pts
and yes, VT lost today on the road to a team who is 15-8 and 4th place in the conference...do you even pay attention??
